Our Mental Health Team have significant experience in helping those affected by mental health problems, providing advice and representation when you, your relative or friend, needs it most.
We are one of a limited number of law firms within England and Wales able to offer free, non-means tested, legal advice and representation in Tribunal matters and many other areas of Mental Health Law, under our contract awarded by the Legal Aid Agency.
MENTAL HEALTH LAW
Our specialist team provides advice and representation to patients detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 and to those subject to Community Treatment Orders (CTO) and Guardianship. Assistance is also available to informal/voluntary patients, for those requiring help with aftercare, and to relatives and carers.
