NICOLE BRIDGMAN’S ROLE
Nicole is part of the Inquest and Actions Against Public Authorities departments. Nicole is based predominantly at our Bank Parade office, but also works out of our London office. As a specialist in the representation of bereaved families, Nicole is experienced in providing advice and representation to those going through the difficult Inquest process, particularly where a death has occurred in prison, police custody, or under the care of the Local Authority. Nicole is also experienced in bringing civil claims, particularly those coming under the Human Rights Act, against authorities as a result of the death of a loved one.
Nicole has a wealth of experience representing clients in complaints and civil actions against public authorities which includes; the police, social services, the prison service, and other public authorities. Nicole also assists the Criminal department providing advice and assistance to clients at the police station. Nicole is a member of the Inquest Lawyers Group and the Police Action Lawyers Group.
Nicole obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Geography-Geology from the University of Leeds before completing a Graduate Diploma in Law from Manchester Metropolitan University. Nicole completed Legal Practice Course with merit. Nicole joined Southerns in September 2015. In her spare time she is a dedicated member of Manchester Rugby Club, sitting on the players’ committee for the Ladies first XV. Nicole also plays hockey for Didsbury Greys Hockey Club.
